I'm sorry that I do not have a proper update for you guys!  We did go to the wedding for Bethany's roommate this past Saturday and to my High School function and I have pictures, but, for some reason my picture loader on Xanga is running super slow.. I had to go back and find this flag in my archives, so I could have a July 4th picture! ugh!
I'm on my way to Tulsa to visit friends and family and won't be back until Monday... hopefully by then, I can post my pictures!

I hope you all have a wonderful July 4th weekend and celebration!  I'm thankful that I live in a FREE country... well, it's free for the time being, anyway!
I pray it continues that way!

This is a picture of Gena and I about a month ago... I had a game and she had a game on another team (same church, two different teams)... she's not in jail, just in her dugout! ha!
We're bad to the bone, baby!  I play catcher and outfield... Gena pitches and plays infield; not sure about what other positions; 1st base for sure... she can play them all...

It's lot's of fun and good exercise; but, boy, those first few games are killers... I've got to get to the gym and do squats and walk and whatever... my legs are noodles right now... I literally have no muscle mass... it's pitiful! ha!  I know I have to let my legs rest for a day (what muscle is there are ripped right now, so they need a little time to repair... plus they hurt like HECK!)... so, Phillip has volunteered to go to the gym with me on Thursday (today) and help me work out... booooo... I hate working out!

Anyway, we have a BIG weekend planned... since when was the last time I didn't have a BIG weekend planned?
Bethany's roommate, Kristi, is getting married at 4:00 PM on Saturday and Bethany is one of the Bridesmaids... she's so excited; this is the first of one of her closest friends to get married and the first wedding to be a Bridesmaid... we're all going, so, I will take lot's of pictures, of course! ha!
THEN... at 7:00 PM, I am attending my High School class get together... I'll have to hurry and get over there from the wedding... that's going to be a feat in and of itself... both events are way across the city from each other... about 45 min.; in good traffic!
It will be so great to see everyone in person... we've been keeping in touch on Facebook and planning this thing for a couple of months... we have close to 50 people that say they will be there!!
Pictures will follow, as well! OF COURSE!

I should be a photographer... I'm thinking real hard about that one... I think I would make a great photographer... patience and a good eye for just the right look... yep, I'm looking into it... if anyone has any tips for me, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I will be meeting up with Christy and Jayme for a 'SPA DAY' (it's been years since I've been to a spa!  Can't wait!).
Then, Charlie and I will be going to a party for his sister and fiance...

Bethany and her friend, Madison, is taking a group of Jr. High girls (at one of the mother's request) to see the Jonas Brother's Concert at the NEW Dallas Cowboy Stadium... I'd like to go just to see the stadium! ha!

The boys will be chillin' at home...

Church on Sunday, then taking Charlie out to eat for Father's Day and then he and I will go play a round of Golf... too much fun, I tell ya! ha!

Good day, ya'll...

I took the kids to Hawaiian Falls yesterday and had a lot of fun... got me a little "sun" (I was white as a ghost!)... Bethany and I had fun just laying at the wave pool the whole time... the boys rode all the rides and slides... a very nice day, indeed!






Today, we are just hanging out at the house; doing laundry and housework... watching "Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King"... we've been watching the trilogy and boy are they LONG! ha!  Good movies, though!

Not much else to report right now... just tryin' to stay cool... it's over 100 degrees here today in the North Texas region!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

We have some out of town friends coming in... I still have two of the six boys spending the weekend, as well!  I'm just the type of person that can't say "no" to the kids that love spending time with us!  I've always told Charlie that if I ever went on a mission trip to another country and a mother wanted me to take her child to America, I would just have to do it!  That's why I don't go on mission trips... just kiddin'!  I went to Mexico one time on one of those mission trips and we went to an orphanage and OMgosh!!!  I couldn't handle it... I wanted to take back all the little children; they just clung to us... I cried for days thinking about them!  *sigh*...

Anyway, I guess if I could, we'd have a whole house full of adopted children!  I'd be like Angelina or Madonna! lol!

Does anyone like eating sunflower seeds?  I love eating them; it's disgusting biting the shells off, but, I do it! ha!  It's the salt I crave!
